This morning, enjoy a visit to Kempty Falls and Gun Hill Point.Kempty Falls, is a popular and picturesque waterfall. It is the largest of the five cascades in the valley that plummets 4,500 ft. from the mountains to flow down into the plains. Owing to its panoramic surroundings, a British officer known as John Mekinan developed this spot as a tourist destination in 1835. The site offers swimming and fishing activities as well.Later, visit the second highest peak of Mussoorie, Gun Hill which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks of Bunderpunch, Srikantha, Pithwara, Gangotri (source of the Ganges River) and a bird's eye view of Mussoorie town and Doon Valley. This morning, drive to Haridwar, en route visit the Triveni Ghat and Laxman Jhula at Rishikesh.The Triveni Ghat, located in the heart of town, is the site of the confluence of three holy rivers namely Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. It is one of the most famous bathing ghats, where most pilgrims take a holy dip and offer prayers before visiting the various temples.The Laxman Jhula which is built over the holy river Ganges is one of the most prominent landmarks of Rishikesh. It is named after Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram, who as per legend used this bridge to cross the Ganga.Then, continue your journey towards Haridwar which is less than an hour away from Rishikesh.On arrival, check in to the hotel.In the evening, participate in the 'Traditional Ganga Aarti' at Har-Ki-Pauri. Thousands of devotees gather here and worship the holy river by offering countless flickering lamps and flower garlands.

This morning, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Haridwar visiting places like the Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple and Mahamrityunjaya Temple .Mansa Devi Temple - The temple of wish-fulfilling goddess Mansa Devi is located atop the Bilwa Parvat on Shivalik Hills, offering panoramic views of Haridwar. It is very popular with pilgrims who flock here in hopes of getting their wishes granted. A ropeway with its brightly coloured cable cars connects the town to the temple.Daksha Mahadev Temple - The ancient temple of Daksha Mahadev, devoted to the Hindu Lord Shiva, is located in Kankhal, which is one of the five sacred places (Panch Tirthas) around Haridwar. First built in 1810 AD, it was reconstructed in 1962. An idol of Shiva in phallic form is installed in the middle of the temple. One of the main attractions is the holy fire pyre.Mahamrityunjaya Temple - The Maha Mrityunjay Mantra or Lord Shiva Mantra is measured very powerful and significant by the Hindus. Also famous as the Moksha Mantra of Lord Shiva, chanting of Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is said to create divine vibrations that heals. Maha Mrityunjay is one more temple in Haridwar. It is named after the British-Indian naturalist and hunter, Jim Corbett who played an important role in creating this national reserve.
