On arrival at Manaus International airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the city at own pace. Overnight in Manaus.
Today, you will be transferred from your hotel in Manus to a lodge in Amazon. Discover the Monkey Forest or enjoy a night tour in the jungle (Paddle or motorized canoe). On arrival check in to your lodge in Amazon. Later, you have a choice to visit the monkey forest or enjoy night tour in canoe. At the monkey forest, the animals are initially put into quarantine to be evaluated and taken care of by a team of veterinarians and biologists. to appreciate the sounds of the jungle at night, with the possibility to spot small alligators (or other nightly creatures). Alligators are spotted because their eyes shine like small red lights. Once the alligator is spotted by the guide's spotlight, he will try to catch a small alligator with his own hands and bring it on to the canoe, and a brief explanation of their habitat follows. The alligator will then be safely released back to the river. (No harm is done to any of the animals).
Embark on a nature hike in the park (On foot).Today, proceed on a nature hike. The highlights of the hike includes walking through the virgin rainforest, natural savannahs and creeks. Marvel at the streams of crystal clear warm water and admire the flora and fauna. Enjoy a visit to the Caboclo's House (Boat or motorized canoe).Later, visit The Caboclo's House. Embark on boat or motorized canoe, accompanied by a bilingual guide to learn about the traditions and customs of local Amazonians "Natives".
Today, visit the "Meeting of the Waters". Board the boat which goes down the Negro River navigating along the shore of the city of Manaus. Admire the view of the Amazonas Theater, Port of Manaus and the stilt houses. Arrive at the Meeting of the Waters which is a spectacular merge of Negro and Solimoes Rivers. This is the point where the rivers form the famous Amazon River that flows in to the Atlantic Ocean.
This morning, you will be transferred to the airport in Manaus to board your flight back home.
