Today explore the temples of the Roluos Group of Siem Reap. It is the site of the first town built by the Angkorian kings in the 8th and 9th century and consists of three main temples: Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko. Stroll around the stunning temples and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Continue to visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. It is a fascinating temple with a row of 54 gods or demons holding the sacred Naga snake on each side of the entrance path. Proceed to visit the Bayon temple, famous for its enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. End the tour with a visit to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Rest of the evening is free at leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Today after breakfast, discover the beautiful temples of Siem Reap. Proceed to Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of Khmer architecture. It is the largest and the most religiously significant temple.
