Sikkim is a located in East India on the Himalayan foot hills bordering China (Tibet), Nepal and Bhutan. It can also be called as the “Abode of Nature”. The snow covered mountains & lush green valleys not only invigorates one's soul, it also leaves the spectators bewildered by the extravaganza of its natural beauty.
On arrival at (NJP) Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (500Ft / 150Mts) at New Jalpaiguri, you will be met by our local representative. Board vehicle & and transfer to Gangtok. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and at an altitude of 5500 ft from the sea level. On arrival at Gangtok, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel, Gangtok.
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 Ft / 43 kms, 03 hrs) & Baba Mandir (13,100 Ft / 16 kms, 01 hr from Tsomgo Lake) (this is a restricted area and entry for foreign national is restricted. They can visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be minimum 02 persons & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake). The depth of the Tsomgo Lake is on an average 50 ft. Late afternoon back to Gangtok. (Due to the very high altitude and bad road condition, Tsomgo Lake is a landside sensitive zone. If due to landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, then an alternative sightseeing will be provided as per then practical situation). Overnight stay at hotel Gangtok.
