Today, the day is free at leisure to explore the nearby Islands of Poros and Hydra at own pace. Overnight in Athens.
Today, cross the Corinth Canal passing Epidaurus. The landscapes change drastically. The waters are aqua blue. Later, head for the coast to Nauplia. Overnight in Nauplia.
This morning, enjoy an excursion to the archaeological Site and the museum of Mycenae, a city fortress cursed by the gods but rich in gold and warrior kings. Travel deep into the Peloponnese to Sparta, where history hangs between reality and legend. Overnight in Sparta.
Today, enjoy the medieval Byzantine Citadel of Mystra, at one time known as the “Florence of the East.” Later continue to Olympia. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight in Olympia.
Focus on Olympia, where the athletes of antiquity performed in honor of the king of deities. Later, drive north to the capital of the Peloponnese which is the west coast’s largest port. Then, proceed through the picturesque fishing villages along the south coast of the mainland to mystical Delphi. Overnight in Delphi.
Today take an optional sightseeing of the archaeological site in Delphi. Delphi used to be the greatest oracle of the ancient world. Considered to be one of the grandest sites in Greece. Proceed to Kalambaka. Overnight in Kalambaka.
Proceed to Meteora. A cluster of spectacular Christian-Orthodox Monastic buildings perched in an unforgettable manner on a set of rising rock formations. Later, drive south to Athens. Overnight in Athens.
Spend the day on own. Explore the many museums at own pace. Or visit Plaka for last minute souvenir shopping or head to Acropolis to see the vistas of the city. Overnight in Athens.
Today you will be met and transferred to the airport for your return flight back home.
