After breakfast, your pilgrim tour begins. We first visit Caesarea - the capital of the Roman procurators of Judea, travel into the edges of Carmel mountain range to Megiddo where excavations have unearthed 20 layers of civilization, most likely the site of Armageddon. Then to Haifa, ascending to the top of Mt. Carmel, “Home” to the prophets Elijah and Elisha. Visit the Hanging Gardens of the Baha‟i Temple. Later drive to Akko, the 4000 year old Canaanite and Phoenician port capital of the Crussader kingdom after the fall of Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Tel Aviv.
After breakfast, today‟s travel takes you around the lake and into Upper Galilee. Continue to Capernaum, Tabgha, which is the traditional sight of Jesus feeding the multitudes, commemorated by the Church of Multiplication. Onwards to the Mount of Beatitudes – this is famous for Jesus‟ Sermon on the Mount. We drive down to Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle of turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana. We then visit the Sepphoris, home of Joachim and Anna and the birthplace of Mary. Later we head for Nazareth where we visit the sight of the Annunciation. Here Jesus spent „the hidden years‟ until He set out on His ministry. Also visit the Basilica of Annunciation and Mary‟s well. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Tel Aviv.
After breakfast, we continue through to the beautiful Jezreel Valley to reach Beth Shean – an ancient city dating back to the time of King Saul. Further on we go to the Jordan rift valley to reach Jericho – the oldest known city in the western world. Drive into the Judean dessert to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. Drive along its shores to Massada and ascend by cable car to view the famed archaeological ruins including King Herods Palace. We later drive to Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Time permitting, you can have a swim in the Dead Sea.Transfer to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Jerusalem.
After a buffet breakfast, we drive to Mount Zion to visit King David‟s Tomb. Visit the room of the Last Supper and then enter the old city through the Zion Gate. Walk along the Cardo through St Steven‟s Gate to St. Ann‟s Church. Follow the route via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, after which we see the Western Wall and the Mt. of Olives. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Jerusalem.
After breakfast, we visit the birthplace of King David and Jesus. Also visit the Church of Nativity – the oldest church in the world. Visit St. Catherine‟s Church where the traditional Midnight Mass is said and telecast live the world over. Later, visit the Manger Square, Ein Karen, birthplace of Saint John the Baptist. Stop by Rachel‟s Tomb and the Yad Yashem Memorial, which was built in memory of the holocaust victims. View the Knesset, the Israeli house of parliament. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Jerusalem.
Today you will be transferred to Tel Aviv airport for your return flight back home.
