Today embark on a full day tour of Port Louis.Drive to the north of the island. Visit the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden commonly known as the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, the oldest botanical garden in the Southern Hemisphere. The garden was first constructed by Pierre Poivre (1719 – 1786) in 1770, and covers an area of around 37 hectares. After the Visit at the Garden, we will proceed to the Sugarworld Adventure. In the estate you will discover the profound effect and the key part of sugar in the history and identity of Mauritius, have lunch at Le Fangourin Restaurant. Drive to the Capital, stop at Fort Adelaide, also known as the Citadel, offering splendid views over the city and its harbour After the Citadel we proceed to the local market in Port Louis for spice and handicraft shopping.
The day is free at leisure or you can enjoy an excursion to Ile Aux cerfs or nearby places. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Port Louis.
