Mexico - 8 Nights / 9 Days

"The stunning culture, astonishing architect, and wonderful food of America will make you its fan! The architecture, the paintings on the walls, the food, the music, the people, etc. makes the Mexico lovable by the tourists."

Mexico City is the country's cultural and economic heart. On arrival, you are met and privately transferred to your hotel.

Head to the world-renowned National Anthropology Museum, one of the most important of its kind in the world and home to the largest collection of pre-Columbian Mexican objects. Continue to Mexico City's central square, the Zocalo, flanked by the National Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Templo Mayor.

Embark on a brief tour of historic Campeche city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, en route to your hotel. This evening, attend the sound and light show at Campeche.

The morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, take a privately guided tour of the fascinating Mayan archaeological site of Edzna with your expert guide.

Head north to the lavish Hacienda Temozon in the heart of Mayan territory and explore the Puuc Route, including the archaeological site of Uxmal. Savor a typical pibil (earth-cooked) meal and meet a Mayan family en route.

Discover Celestun Reserve, one of the most important protected areas in the Yucatan Peninsula, and explore the mangrove estuaries and wetlands by boat. Celestun is home to a wide array of flora and fauna including crocodile, egret, heron, ibis and hundreds of other birds. In the afternoon, join your guide for a private tour of Merida, a city that was named by the conquering Spaniards in honor of the city of Merida in Spain.

Enjoy the day at leisure at the hacienda, where you can relax by the pool, horseback ride or explore your beautiful surroundings by mountain bike.

The morning is yours to enjoy at the hacienda. In the afternoon, embark on a privately guided trip to the magical town of Izamal with its yellow painted monastery and unexcavated mounds. Continue to Piste, the town surrounding Chichen Itza — the most famous of all Mayan archaeological sites — and check in to your charming bungalow.

You are among the first visitors today to enter and explore Chichen Itza, one of the most spectacular and impressive of all the sites of the Mayan civilization. Continue to Cancun for your flight home
