Welcome to your ‘Scenic Himachal’ tour! On arrival at the airport / railway station in Delhi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Shimla. Shimla, is a beautiful hill town in the lap of nature, surrounded by pine and deodar forests.The rest of the day is at leisure.Overnight in Shimla.


This morning, proceed on a wonderful excursion to Kufri. Located at distance of 15 km from Shimla, Kufri is well known for its ski slopes and stunning views.Later in the evening, visit Mall Road which is considered as the main street in Shimla, Scandal Point considered to be a popular tourist spot, Christ Church one of the first churches built in North India and Lakkad Bazaar known for wooden toys and articles.Note: (The vehicle will drop you till the Mall road as per the Himachal Tourism policy).


This morning, proceed on a breathtaking drive to Manali, nestled on the banks of the River Beas amidst Kullu Valley. En route drive past through ACC cement factory, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Mata Temple, Sutlaj River, Beas River, Kullu Shawl Factory, where Kullu shawls and Kashimiri salwar - kameez materials are sold and Mata Vaishno Maha Devi Tirth.On arrival, check in to the hotel in Manali. Rest of the day is free at leisure.


Today, after breakfast, visit the four and a half century old Hadimba Devi Temple, dedicated to the demon goddess Hadimba (an incarnation of Kali) and the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings.Later proceed to Mall road.The rest of the day is at leisure to simply relax or explore the city of Manali.

Today morning proceed to visit the Solang Valley, a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. This valley offers breathtaking views of glaciers, snow-capped mountains, peaks and lush greenery of the dense forest.The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this picturesque town or you can opt for Rohtang Pass (closed on Tuesdays). Rohtang Pass offers magnificent views of the himalayan mountain ranges. It was the medieval trading route to Lahaul and Spiti. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired (On direct payment).If Rohtang Pass / Snow point is not covered due to unavoidable circumstances one can visit Naggar Castle Naggar Castle - the charming 15th century stone and wood Naggar Castle built in the traditional Himachali style with alternating stone and timber, is now a heritage hotel run by Himachal TourismNote: Only local vehicles are allowed for Rohtang Pass / Snow point visit which needs to be booked on direct payment basis.


Today, your picturesque journey continues to Dharamshala, the principal township of Kangra district which overlooks the wide spread plains with pine and deodar forests. On arrival, check in to the hotel.Visit St. John's Church and Tibetan Market Later, in the afternoon visit St. John's Church and Tibetan Market.Located 8 km from Dharamshala, surrounded by deodar cedars is the charming St. Johns Church, a neo-Gothic stone structure built in 1852. Brass plaques and superb Belgian stained-glass windows can be seen inside the church.Tibetan Market is a street full off souvenirs stalls, Tibetan handicrafts, Thangkas, Tibetan carpets, garments, etc. Overnight in Dharamshala.


This morning, after breakfast proceed to Dalhousie, en route visit McLeod Ganj - the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama.Mcleodganj is the headquarters of the Tibetan Government in exile and abode of His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama. Perched almost 1,500 metres above sea level, this hilltop retreat is named after David Mcleod, the lieutenant governor of Punjab in 1848. It is a very popular learning center of Tibetan culture and the teachings of Buddhism. It is home to several monasteries, including the Namgyal monastery.Later, continue your drive to Dalhousie. On arrival, check in to the hotel.


This morning, embark on an excursion to Khajjar Lake. The picturesque Khajjiar Lake is located 23 km from Dalhousie in Khajjiar, which is often labelled as the mini Switzerland of India. Fed by small streams, this lake rests in the centre of the large glade of Khajjiar, surrounded by evergreen cedars. It takes its name from Khajjinag, the deity in the temple nearby.En route visit the Martyr's memorial at Panchpulla which commemorates Ajit Singh, a supporter of Subhash Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army during World War II and also visit Satdhara, acquiring its name from the seven gorgeous springs and said to contain mica and medicinal properties which are able to alleviate several ailments.


Today, bid farewell to your 'Scenic Himachal Ex Chandigarh'tour, as you are transferred to the airport / railway station in Pathankot / Chandigarh/ Amritsar for your onward journey.
