On arrival at Chennai airport/station, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Chennai.
In the morning, take breakfast and go for sightseeing of Chennai. You will visit places like Gandhi memorial, Kala Kshetra, Marine beach and Mylapore temple. Now, travel to Covelong and check in to hotel in Covelong. Stay in hotel for night.
Your morning is in the Covelong and this morning will be awesome for you. Eat breakfast in the hotel and go to Covelong beach. Enjoy your complete day at Covelong beach and come back to hotel in night.
Today you will travel to Pondicherry from Covelong. Check in to the hotel and go to Aurobindo Ashram, a place of peace. You will also visit Pondicherry museum and get to know about all artifacts in museum which are Chola bronze items and Arrikamedu. Rest of the evening is free at leisure. Overnight in Pondicherry.
Check out from the hotel in Pondicherry and move to Tanjavur which is about 237 Kms away from Pondicherry. On arrival at Tanjavur, you will have to visit Brihadeshwara Fort and Temple. This temple has place in World Heritage list. Take a look to the Tanjavur museum and palace. You have to spend your night in the hotel.
Travel to Madurai from Tanjore on this day by cab. On the way, visit Ganesh temple and Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy. Ganesh temple is made up from rock fort. Take Prasad in temples and continue travelling to Madurai. On arrival in Madurai, check in to hotel and get relax for night in the hotel.
On this day, you will go for sightseeing of Madurai. Eat your breakfast in the hotel and go for visiting Thirumalai Nayak’s palace and Gandhi Museum. After these places, go to Meenakshi temple which is situated on 1000 pillars. You must have to enjoy the special ceremony which held at Meenakshi temple every night. In the night, travel to Periyar and check in to pre booked hotel.
You will have peaceful and lovely morning in Periyar. After eating breakfast in the hotel, go to Periyar wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy boat ride. You will also enjoy wildlife and Elephant Park in sanctuary. In the afternoon, check out from hotel and move towards Kumarakom. You will reach to Kumarakom in night and stay for night in pre booked hotel.
In the morning in Kumarakom, move to houseboat from the hotel which is situated across backwaters. For the next day, you have to spend 20 hours in this floating houseboat. In Kerala, know about village life by living corners of backwaters. This may be unforgettable and unique experience for you and enjoy sunset in the evening at this houseboat. All breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available for you in the houseboat.
Move to Alleppey in this morning from Kumarakom and check in to pre booked hotel. On the way, visit to Kochi and you will go to fort Cochin, Dutch palace and Santa Cruz Basilica. When you go Dutch palace check that it is open or not, because it close on Friday and Saturday. In the evening, go to St. Francis Church and leave to Chennai. In Chennai, check in to hotel and spend night.
You will be met and transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
