Today embark on a full day excursion to Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels. Gain insight into daily life in the rural districts at the mouth of the Mekong river and experience the wartime history of the country. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

This morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport in Ho Chi Minh City. (Flight cost not included)On arrival in Danang, proceed and check in to the hotel in Hoi An.Later, enjoy a city tour of Hoi An. Embark on a tour of this quaint and historic town. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda Museum of Sa Hunh Culture, Thian Hau Thanh Mau Temple and a lantern making workshop. Rest of the evening is free at leisure.  Overnight in Hoi An.

Today after breakfast, transfer from Hoi An to Hue. The scenic route passes through Da Nang before climbing over the Pass of the Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the photogenic fishing village of Lang Co. On arrival, proceed and check in to the hotel in Hue.Later embark on a city tour of Hue , the former city of the Nguyen Emperors.The highlights include visit to the Royal Hue Palace, Imperial City, The Citadel and Tomb of Tu Duc. Overnight in Hue.

Later in afternoon, transfer to the airport in Hue for your flight to Hanoi. (Flight cost not included.)On arrival at Hanoi, travel to Halong Bay through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and marvel at the scenic view of rice fields. Enjoy a boat trip on Perfume River.This river is famous because of the fragrant smell it carries from the thick forest through which it flows. Enjoy the scenic beauty along this river which flows past many villages. Disembark and visit many religious sites, Pagoda of the Celestial Lady and the mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang.Overnight in Halong Bay.

Transfer from hotel in Halong Bay to hotel in Hanoi, en-route cruise along the Halong Bay. This morning travel to Hanoi. En route enjoy a tour of the Halong Bay Explore the vast bay aboard a traditional Vietnamese junk sailing boat with a visit to the Thien Cung Cave. It is a sprawling natural grotto with intricate stalactite, stalagmite formations and colorful lighting. Later, proceed to Hanoi. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Hanoi including Water puppet show and Cyclo ride.See important buildings in Ba Dinh Square and view the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & the Temple of Literature. Highlight is the visit to Hoan Kiem Lake’s Ngoc Son Temple and watch a water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
